here is something to encourage all the students in Group 11..

As I will be starting school in Aug, something came to my mind. What do I want to achieve in school? Since I stopped schooling for 1 year and now going back to school. Studying is always so much better than working in the society. The people you meet, the things you have to do and definitely the time you spend.

As I was standing at the sports complex the other day.. looking into the swimming pool. People are swimming from the beginning point to the ending point. Some stopped halfway. There were a few that actually standing at the grand stand like me, looking at them.

It came to me.. Where do I want to be?
1. The Swimmer that is finishing laps after laps
2. The Swimmer that stopped halfway
3. The spectator standing at the grandstand

just like in school.. where do i want to be?
1. Getting for my 1st Class Honours
2. Study because people want me to study
3. Just watching on how people reach their aims?

Secondary Schools have started 2nd sem..
Poly have started school..
Uni are waiting for school to start...

think about where you want to be? Be a student that is achieving not just the minimum but trying to be the best student and shine for Jesus. Or be a student just to get by school life day by day. If you have not been really studying... stop and think.. what is your purpose of studying? It is never too late to start studying..

Just like what I told my team G11S1C.. all of us are shining for God in other areas.. in church, many of us are CGCs, leaders in 1 way or another.. if we can shine in church, then we should also shine in school for God. =)
